Open to all genders, 16 and up This two-hour introduction to empowerment self-defense teaches practical skills on how to cope with unwanted situations through active participation in a safe environment. You will practice awareness, verbal and physical self-defense skills to set boundaries, express needs assertively, and use force when necessary. This class emphasizes a connection to your inner strengths and your ability to choose a course of action that is right for you. This workshop is taught by a female instructor without a padded instructor. One two-hour session.
